Kaleidotelescopes

Two oversized telescopes, one mostly blue and one mostly red, covered in bright folk-style holiday graphics (snowflakes, poinsettias, ornaments, tree triangles). They sit on gold-finished equatorial mounts with counterweights and wooden tripods, in front of a white picket fence and lit, decorated trees inside a Winterfest OC 2023 tent. Neither has a lens. Each end holds a triangular mirror kaleidoscope set in a disc painted with red rotation arrows. In the clips, the blue telescope shows a faceted sphere scattered with red, green and white shapes, and the red one shows a field of repeating triangles in pink, white and blue. Abraca Lab's own Instagram story calls it "our telescope kaleidoscope."
