CC Sunburst Stage

A halo-lit C|C crest at the center of a burst of steel rays, mounted on an arched white stage wall in a ballroom. The crest has raised letters and a bronze rim. Every ray is backlit with color-changing LEDs that run from warm white to solid colors, rainbow rings and color chases. The build started with pen sketches and a digital layout of the ray pattern. Steel flat-bar rays with welded-on threaded mounting nuts were dry-fit on a central hub, and the crest and three rays had a night light test in the shop. The piece was installed in the ballroom in June 2023.
